One evening, both of their tempers flared. This was it, the point from which there was no turning back.

Next thing he knew, Zack was under arrest on domestic violence charges, specifically domestic assault charges, a misdemeanor.

Zack was hauled down to jail and, later, to his "first appearance". A no contact order was entered against him.

Zack was a businessman.

This was his first alleged offense.

Zack didn't want to waste a lot of work time and money on a trial.

Truth be told, he was also concerned that his ethnicity might hurt him at trial, after what had happened to the Twin Towers.

He was scared and didn't know what to expect. He was desperate to keep his business going, not just for himself, but for his family members back home. He was also terrified of doing time.
